Courtney Love: ‘The Muppets are raping Kurt Cobain’s memory’
Unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be an actual quote, more a paraphrase of a paraphrase with no basis in reality. Still, when are we going to let a little truth get in the way of speech marks? It’s something that Courtney could have said, and that’s good enough for it to be included here.

Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl: ‘The music industry needs more people like Adele’

Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl has claimed that if all albums were as good as Adele’s ’21’ then the music industry “would be on fire”. Talking to Billboard, the singer said that poor record sales were the result of lacklustre LP’s rather than a lack of interest in music, and suggested that people would always be willing to buy “great” albums.

This, from the singer with the blandest mainstream rock band since Bon Jovi. Rock stars, huh? Fucking muppets.
