The Definitive List | The 100 Greatest Songs of All Time, Part 7
I note, with some satisfaction, that the end of year lists are starting to appear on music writing websites across the world.
These people care so much about music that they’re willing to forgo one month of the year just to let you know how much they care about music. Well, let me tell you, no one cares more about music than we here at Collapse Board and that the way we prove to you our eternal love for the form is by printing a list of the 100 Greatest Songs of All Time, a list so definitive and so steeped in love for music that it will cause all argument about the 100 Greatest Songs of All Time to cease the moment the final instalment is published [which can’t be far off now, can it? – Exasperated Readers]. I mean, this shit is exciting. What could be more exciting than ascribing numerical value to music? I mean, really?
