A Christmas Gift from Everett True – pt 2

Where were we? Oh yeah, Christmas.

All of us in our house love Christmas songs. They absolve many sins. They offer the chance to engage with a festive ‘spirit’ that I rarely feel otherwise. (I’m on record here – as this track recorded for a A Very Cherry Christmas shows.) I have bloody hundreds – quite possibly thousands – of them. I have no idea why I haven’t included either my favourite recent Christmas song (The Long Blondes – ‘Christmas Is Cancelled’) or favourite new Christmas song (Viv Albertine – ‘Home Sweet Home …At Christmas’) on these two compilations but that’s the luck of the draw, I guess. I have dozens of others, that’s the problem. So here’s my second Christmas Gift to you. Another mix tape.
