Sourpatch – Things You Say
Real punk rock.

Cat Power – Ruin
I haven’t heard the record yet, but in the last six months Moon Pix has been on constant rotation, so I am excited beyond words for new Cat Power material.

Standard Fare – 051107
Yeah it’s really slick and that usually means I don’t like it, but Standard Fare kinda just snuck up and won me over. Also have to put this one up since my buddy Brad from One Happy Island is playing the horn solo.

Woollen Kits – Out of Whack
Yeah it’s like Beat Happening and The Pastels and a bunch of other stuff, but who cares, just own it. Every time I listen to this band I tend to try to write a two-chord song that same day.

Magnetic Fields – Andrew In Drag
Not the best song from the new Magnetic Fields album, but 10 times better than most crap being thrown at us these days. Even crazier that it on the label whose past five years helped define the music genre “dad casual”.
