Bad Banana - Cry About It

By Mike Turner

Bad Banana is a catalog of broken hearts, dreams that never came true, letdown, defeat, and the never-ending drive that says tomorrow is another day and you are due something really good real soon. The Crutchfield sisters Katie and Allison have written a song for every broken promise that came their way, both from others and themselves. You can’t fake sincerity, no matter how hard you try. And you can hear true desperation when they sing “I want Youuuuuuuouuouuuuuuu” and “Why did you have to show up at allllllllllllalllllllllallllllllll” . Rallies for the crush-worthy, anthems about pining over those awkward glances, battle cries just to be noticed by that one person who doesn’t know you even exist–it’s what Bad Banana does best. They know what it’s like and they know it’s gonna be alright.

Hold this single. Put it on and it will hold you back. It’s gonna be alright.

Puzzle Pieces Records – 461 st Marks Ave No.3, Brooklyn, NY 11238
