There are lines in the sand, and there are lines in the sand … and then there’s The Smashing Pumpkins.
REVIEWED IN WORDS: Smashing Pumpkins – Gish (deluxe edition)
Addenda:
Some of the more astute among you may have noticed a certain similarity between this review and this review. That’s because they’re the same review. If the fucking Smashing Pumpkins couldn’t be bothered to change their whining, mewling, half-assed Nirvana meets Warrant meets Freddie Mercury template from their first album to their third then I’m damned if I’m going to. Plus… uh… quality control anyone? This new box set is FIVE FUCKING CDs of whining, mewling, half-assed Nirvana meets Warrant meets Freddie Mercury rip-offs: demos, outtakes, alt. mixes, belches, farts and 20-minute wank included. At least I haven’t extended my review to match. Oh wait. I have. There’s more…

And more…

And more…

Etc.
