Michael Stipe’s reaction to your reaction.

Yeah…well…..whatever cos R.E.M. were the biggest, tallest poppy you’ve ever seen, and they were so fuckin’ timeless that you couldn’t even chop them down if you tried. You’re probably just bitter cos Michael Stipe didn’t know who you were when you were hangin’ out with Nirvana one day.

Damn it Wallace. Do you have to let everyone know?

P.S. Collapse Board readers. DO NOT click on Princess Stomper’s link in front of a) your young sons or b) your workplace colleagues.

Sorry – I assumed everyone knew that “NSFW” means” NOT SAFE FOR WORK (or children).

Not funny. Not big, not clever. Pointless

It’s like when somebody dies and all the comment sections of articles are filled with people saying “who?”

So you don’t care that R.E.M split up. Well done. What do you want, a medal? Are we to hoist you on our shoulders and praise your brave irreverence?

This will post will be unforgivable UNLESS you allow for somebody to write a passionate blog about just how much the band meant to them.

Should that occur, this post will merely be obnoxious and irritating.

As it stands, yeah. No idea what you’re trying to achieve here.

    You people are just weird.

Everett, am I allowed to link to my passionate blog about just how much R.E.M meant to me?

If that’s taboo, I’m sure you’ve got the power to delete this post and block my IP.

I fainted in the curry house when I heard REM had split up.

    That’s me in the korma.

(Joke I stole from my friend)

Yeahh…but if this article was about a band you hate with the same pictures (just with something diffrent than Michael Stipe picture) in the same order you would say “haha, funny”, wouldn’t you?

I like the review, even I like some songs of R.E.M.. Fuck it. But, Everett, you know, you could do something diffrent than in article on Stone Roses’s reunion, maybe that dog:
