In fact, it was considered very uncool to not consider Pavement cool. After &quot;Slanted,&quot; and several other Pavement albums I purchased, I never figured out why they were considered so untouchable in Indie music. I think they were the most overrated band of the 1990s. Just maybe, no as a matter of fact, the indie music wasn&#039;t really that good, or radio stations would still be playing Pavement today instead of Nirvana and Pearl Jam.</description>
