I find Dan Deacon pretty annoying, but he almost makes up for it by creating a tolerable version of Carly Rae Jepsen’s ‘Call Me Maybe’ by incrementally layering the vocal track 147 times. The concept borrows heavily from Alvin Lucier’s ‘I Am Sitting in A Room’, which is cool. However, Deacon loses points for not calling it ‘I Am Sitting In A Dentist’s Office’.

I don’t know how to say goodbye. I’ve always been bad at that so I’ll leave you with this. Have a great summer, LYLAS!
